Fatal Traffic Collision

Whittier, CA - On July 9, 2010 at approximately 10:00pm, a female adult staying at a nearby motel was struck while crossing northbound on the west side of the intersection at Whittier Blvd & Strub Ave.  The victim was struck by a Chrysler minivan traveling westbound on Whittier Blvd.  The victim was pronounced dead on scene by LA County Fire personnel. This collision is still being investigated by the Whittier Police Traffic Bureau.
