19-Year-Old Female Robbed at Gunpoint

Santa Fe Springs, CA - On January 2nd at 5:00pm, in the area of Flossmoor Road and Houghton Avenue, a 19-year-old female victim was walking home in the rain when she was approached and punched in the head by a male. He then displayed a handgun and took her coach purse and diamond ring. He entered a waiting newer model Nissan Altima and fled the area. The suspect was described as a 6’02”, 170 lbs, Hispanic male in his 30’s wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans. The victim stated the suspect possibly had “LA” tattooed on his left cheek.
