Santa Fe Springs, CA - The Whittier Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a murder suspect, or suspects, who shot a man and woman in the parking lot of 11517 Los Nietos Road. At 2:07 am, officers responded to a shots fired call and discovered two victims having each sustained a single gunshot wound to the head. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene and Whittier Homicide Detectives responded to investigate.

While the victims appeared to be Hispanic and in their thirties, official identification is pending.. Detectives are aggressively investigating this case; however anyone with information is encouraged to call the Whittier Police Department at (562) 945-8250.

The victims have been identified as:

Leonardo Soliz - 35 yrs, Male Hispanic, Pico Rivera
Celeste Jimenez- 31 yrs, Female Hispanic, Bell Gardens
