Subject: The Whittier Police Department Is Moving

Whittier, CA. – Starting at 5pm on November the 2nd, the city’s Police Department is relocating from the current facility on Painter Ave., to the new Police Headquarters, located at 13200 Penn St.

To ease any possible confusion during the transition, limited police personnel will be on hand to staff the lobby of the current police station on November 2nd, and will close at 5pm. Most services will be available, however non essential services (i.e. copies of police reports) will be delayed until the move is complete on the evening of November 3rd. Emergency services along with regular calls for police services will not be affected during the transition.

The new facility on Penn St. will be fully operational by the morning of November 4th.
