Santa Fe Springs, CA - On February 3, 2008, at 1248 hrs., officers were dispatched to the area of Alondra Blvd., east of the 5 freeway for a single car traffic collision. When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle had lost control and veered off Alondra Blvd. into the riverbed below. The vehicle was overturned, but not submerged in the water caused by the day's rain.
The female driver along with a one year old child were removed from the vehicle by Santa Fe Springs Fire Department, with the child receiving what appeared to be only minor injuries. The female driver was air lifted to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center to be treated for unknown injuries.
