Police Search For Parolee

Santa Fe Springs, CA – On June 12, 2009 at 11:46am, Whittier PD officers patrolling Santa Fe Springs, responded to a call of man looking into backyards and attempting to jump several fences in the area of Orr & Day Road and Clarkman Street. When officers arrived on scene, several witnesses provide officers with a description of the man. The description is recognized as that of a parolee-at-large who was spotted yesterday in the area. While still on scene, officers were alerted that the subject may be in the area of the 11600 block of Terradell Street. Officers responded to that location and a brief containment was set-up. The subject was allegedly seen in the backyard of a residence in the vicinity. With the assistance of a Los Angeles County Air Support Unit and Police K9’s, it was determined that the subject was not in the backyard. The subject in question is still at large.
