Suspects Arrested On Suspicion of Grand Theft

On October 26th at 8:30pm, Officers observed a vehicle matching the description of a suspect vehicle used during an attempt grand theft of gas incident on Telegraph Road. Officers followed the car to the area of Carmenita Road and Rosecrans Avenue where they conduced a traffic stop. Contained in the vehicle was a large capacity container filled with diesel fuel and the equipment to pump fuel from vehicles into the container. The suspects where arrested for suspicion of grand theft and suspicion of receiving stolen property. Arrested were Marco Gomez (08/22/69) of Hawaiian Gardens and Roque Gonzalez (11/18/71) of Carson.
