Whittier, CA - On September 19, 2010 at approximately 6:30pm, Whittier PD Officers responded to a residence in the 13100 block of Oak St., regarding a burglary in progress.
The 69 year-old female resident was watching television when the suspect entered her home and approached her from behind grabbing and twisting her head. The victim screams and fights back, gaining the attention of her roommate.
The suspect is scared off by the victims roommate and flees the house with his accomplice who was waiting outside. When officers arrived in the area, they quickly located both suspects a short distance from the victims home.
Arrested were: Tyler Perry, 26 of Placentia and George Kerr, 40 of Whittier
