Santa Fe Springs, CA - A female driver was traveling southbound Carmenita at a high rate of speed and collided with the trailer of a semi-truck making a northbound turn from Molette onto Carmenita. The 2002 Tahoe became wedged under the trailer pinning the driver inside. Numerous fire personnel responded and spent nearly an hour trying to free the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was a 24 year old female from La Mirada.
