Three Brothers Arrested

Three brothers were arrested March 8th, 2007 at approximately 8:30am, for suspicion of robbery. Detectives who were in the area of Lambert Rd. and Santa Fe Springs Rd. first observed the three acting suspicious outside of a liquor store. When officers attempted to contact the brothers began to run from the officers. A perimeter was established and all three were taken into custody. Paul Hernandez 30 years of age, had dropped a backpack during the foot pursuit. It was determined that he was on parole and was in possession of replica handgun that was inside the back up. Paul Hernandez also believed that he had warrants for his arrest. The other two brothers Richard Hernandez 33 years of age, and a juvenile brother were also arrested . All three brothers reside in the city of Whittier.
