Lotto Ticket Scam

An 86 year old victim was approached by two males in the Market Place parking lotlocated at Whittier Blvd. and Hadley Street. They engage in conversation and convince the elderly man to get $14, 500 from his home in exchange for a winning lotto ticket. The suspects drive the victim to his house where he gets the money. They drive him back to the Market Place and, at knife point, take the money from him. The suspects are a male Hispanic, 30 year of age, 5'6", 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The second suspect is a male Hispanic, in his 50's, 5'6", 160 pounds. The suspect vehicle is a 2005 Chevrolet sedan, 4-door, light gray,with a possible partial license plate of 009. The $14,500 represents the victim’s life savings. If there is any information regarding these suspects, contact the Whittier Police Department.
