Whittier, CA. – In an effort to improve public safety through the reduction of traffic collisions, Red Light Cameras will be back online starting Monday, August 17, 2009. This date will represent the start of a 30-Day warning period, after which citations will begin to be issued based on Officer approval. The systems are located at the intersections of Painter Avenue and Lambert Road as well as Greenleaf Avenue and Mulberry Road and are further identified by warning signs surrounding the intersections.
