Victim Robbed at Knifepoint

One day after the crime occurred, the Whittier Police Department was contacted by the victim of a robbery. The incident occurred on September 8th at 7:00pm. The female victim is employed by a cleaning crew at Crescent Health Care in the 11900 block of Telegraph Road. While she walked to the parking lot to throw away trash, the suspect was “waiting” inside the trash enclosure; he demanded cash and displayed a 4” knife. The victim complied and left the area after losing $10. The suspect was described as a Male African American, 25 years old, 5'11", and 175lbs with a muscular build. He was further described as a dark complected transient with a shaved head.
