Thieves Arrested After Stealing Skateboard

On January 18th at 5:20pm, in the area of 14419 Washington Avenue, four gang members took a 15-year-old's skateboard by holding a knife to his throat. While fleeing, the mother of the victim saw them as she was driving in the area. Officers responded and two of the four suspects were positively identified and taken into custody and booked for robbery. Both suspects were juveniles residing in Whittier.
