On January 2nd, at 10:15pm, three suspects confronted a victim as he was walking out of CVS Pharmacy at the Whittwood Town Center. They punched and kicked him in the head and after he was down, they took his watch.
A witness followed the suspects as they fled and he directed officers to the area of Corley and Lanning where the suspects had abandoned their vehicle. Officers located the suspects a short distance away from the vehicle hiding in some bushes and they were taken into custody for robbery. The suspects were all male from La Puente and Whittier and were 25, 22, and 16 respectively.
