On 12/29/08 a female driver (6 months pregnant) was approached in her vehicle while she
was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Greenleaf Avenue and Lambert Road. Suspect #1 started striking the female several times in the head through her open window while demanding her vehicle. Suspect #2 approached the driver's door and opened it while Suspect #1 attempted to drag the female out of the vehicle. During the altercation, the female driver was struck in the stomach. At this point Suspect #2 noticed that the female was pregnant and both suspects fled on foot.
The Whittier Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in bringing these criminals to justice. Suspect #1, pictured above, is described as a male Hispanic, 5'8" tall in his 30's. He has a thin build, shaved head, and was seen wearing a black sweater at the time of the crime. The suspect also has cursive lettering, possibly a female’s name on the right side of his neck along with red lips on the front. Suspect #2 could only be described as a male Hispanic with a shaved head.
