On May 26, 2006 at 3:50 p.m. a Whitier officer assigned to Santa Fe Springs conducted a traffic stop in the area of Shoemaker and Park. The vehicle was occupied by a male and a female. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen from Whittier earlier in the day. Officers also recovered burglary tools from the vehicle. The male suspect was on parole and had just left the parole office after meeting with his agent. Parolees meet with their agents to insure that they are staying away from criminal activity....
