A driving under the influence checkpoint will be set up on the corner of Mar Vista Street and Colima Road today. Whittier Police Department is conducting the checkpoint from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Officers will check for unlicensed motorists, driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, officials said.
