On June 15, 2006 at 3 p.m. a young teen was beaten up by three suspects and his Ipod was forcefully removed from his body. The robbery occurred in the area of Washington Boulevard and Broadway in Santa Fe Springs. Officers canvassed the area and after a short foot pursuit, were able to locate two of the three suspects. One of the suspects was a 13-year old. Further investigation led officers to an area residence where a third suspect was located. The Ipod was recovered from a suspect who is currently on parole.
