On July 5, 2008 at 12:05 a.m. the victim was driving his truck eastbound Philadelphia in the area of Pickering when unknown suspect(s) from another vehicle opened fire on the victim, using an unknown type firearm. The victim was struck in the upper torso and was able to drive himself to a local hospital. The gang unit is currently investigating this incident.
