Santa Fe Springs - On July 19, 2008 at 9:20 p.m. officers responded to the Motel Six on Excelsior and Carmenita in Santa Fe Springs regarding a stabbing that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and suspect still in the hotel room. Preliminary investigation indicated that after an argument ensued between the two females, the suspect armed herself with a knife and attempted to stab the victim. A struggle took place between the two and in the process, the victim was stabbed in the hand. Officers arrested Denise Help (DOB: 9-5-78) from Santa Fe Springs for assault with a deadly weapon.
