On October 20, 2008 at 1:38am, a resident was awakened by the suspect, who was walking inside the residence in the 11800 block of Grande Vista. The suspect gained entry through an unlocked door. When the resident confronted the suspect, the suspect fled on foot. Officers responded and were able to locate the burglary suspect hiding in the area of North and South Circle. Matthew Anderson, 36, of Hacienda Heights was taken into custody without incident.
Residents are reminded to lock all access points into residences at night and when away from home.
