The Department received numerous 911 calls at 10pm regarding an explosion that was heard in the Michigan Park area. Officers checked the area with the assistance of ground units and a police helicopter, but were unable to pinpoint the location of the explosion and no damage was found. A witness said that they saw a model rocket launch and then explode in mid-air.
