Car Theft Suspects In Custody

Santa Fe Springs - On November 25, 2008 at 5am officers responded to a traffic collision in the area of Shoemaker and Florence.  Witnesses reported that the driver and a passenger both ran from the vehicle.  Officers arrived quickly and were able to locate and detain both suspects as they fled.  The vehicle was stolen from Whittier on the previous night.  Both suspects were taken into custody for auto theft.  A sixteen year old male from South Gate and Marissa Castro (10-2-62) from Whittier were arrested.
