Shots Fired

On November 23rd at 12:40am, Whittier Police Officers responded to a possible “shots fired” call at 12819 Broadway. The residents at that location were having a party and Officers found two spent casings to the front of the house. As Officers investigated a possible shooting, a 20-year-old Hispanic victim with 3 stab wounds to the back, was carried from the rear of the house to the front. This subject was intoxicated and uncooperative and no one at the scene was willing to assist with the investigation. An Officer later responded to Beverly Hospital with the victim where he remained in stable condition with non-life threatening lacerations.
