Search for Shooting Victims Unfruitful

After receiving several calls of shots fired on December 12th at 10:20pm in the area of Whittier Blvd. and Gunn Ave., Whittier Police Officers responded to investigate. Additional information indicated two vehicles were driving in the area at high speed. All involved vehicles were gone when Officers arrived but according to witnesses, two vehicles were involved in a chase. They stopped in the south alley of Whittier Blvd., west of Gunn Ave. and the occupant(s) of both vehicles got out and started to fight. At one point, subjects from both vehicles produced guns and fired at each other. The occupants then got back into the vehicles and raced away but not before colliding with each other. Neither vehicle or any of the occupants were located and no one has turned up at any hospitals with gunshots wounds, thus no victims have been identified.
