Six Suspects In Custody After Warrant Service

On December 16th at 3:00pm, the Santa Fe Springs Problem Oriented Policing Team and Detective Bureau, assisted by Whittier Narcotics, the Special Enforcement Team and the Patrol Division served a search warrant at 10419 Orr & Day Road in the city of Santa Fe Springs. The warrant resulted in the arrest of six suspects and the recovery of 13 grams of rock cocaine, 8 grams of methamphetamine, nearly $2000 in cash from the primary suspect and various instruments associated with the sale of narcotics.

This residence, which is located less than 300 feet from Santa Fe High School, has been a location of interest for sometime due to suspected narcotic sales. The investigation and subsequent search warrant is an outstanding collaboration of effort by personnel in Santa Fe Springs and Whittier that lead to a successful operation.

The following suspects were arrested for various drug related charges:

Alejandro Ortiz, 33 years, of Santa Fe Springs.
Philip Jones, 36 years, transient.
Joanne Medina, 35 years, of Norwalk.
Doug Hampton, 45 years, of Commerce.
Kaycee Brown, 46 years, of Santa Fe Springs.
Erica Aguliar, 31 years, of Downey.
