Tagger Arrested

While patrolling Santa Fe Springs on 12/16/08 at 2:00pm, an officer observed a male tagging a wall adjacent the railroad tracks in the area of Florence Ave. and Pioneer Blvd. The suspect was using a black ‘Magnum Marker’ when confronted by the officer and a short foot pursuit took place. Moments later, a Sergeant checking the area located the suspect in a residential area and he was positively identified by the investigating officer. The arrestee was a 17-year-old juvenile from Norwalk.
