Armed Robbery
At approximately 0325 hours on 04-30-09, witnesses observed two vehicles pull up to the front of the El Atacor restaurant located at 11233 Washington Blvd. in Santa Fe Springs. Vehicle number one was described as a Mitsubishi Gallant, silver in color with chrome rims and tinted windows. Vehicle number two was described as a white Cadillac. The right front passenger of the Mitsubishi exited the vehicle holding a revolver and approached the driver of the white Cadillac. There is a brief discussion between the two suspects and the driver of the white Cadillac exited the vehicle holding what appeared to be an AK-47. The two suspects then enter the restaurant waving the guns in the air. They robbed the clerk and several customers before exiting the restaurant to get back into their respective vehicles and flee westbound on Washington Blvd. and out of sight. The suspects are described as male Hispanic gang types. The driver of the Mitsubishi was also described as a male Hispanic gang type. The passenger in the white Cadillac was described as a female Hispanic.
