Suspect Arrested After Assaulting Daughter's Ex-Boyfriend

On April 13th at 8:00pm, at 11825 Whittier Blvd., the victim was locking a door to his business when the suspect drove his work truck up over the curb and onto the sidewalk. The victim had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck. The suspect then exited his truck and struck the victim in the head several times with his hand before fleeing in an unknown direction. The suspect is the father of the victim’s former girlfriend and expressed his frustration over the way the victim treated his daughter. The suspect was arrested at his home without incident later in the evening.
