Police Seek Residential Burglary Suspects

On April 16th at 3:20pm, the Whittier Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence in the 10300 block of Longworth Avenue. Three males, either light skinned African Americans or Hispanics, were dropped off in front of the house by a fourth suspect who was driving a small grey Corolla or Mitsubishi with a partial license plate of "----722." After knocking on the front door of the unoccupied house, they went into the back yard and entered the residence via a window. Officers arrived within minutes but apparently the suspects fled the house and got back into the car before a containment was established. The suspects left in a haste, leaving behind property intended to be stolen. The Whittier Police Department's Forensics Bureau also arrived and processed the scene for evidence.
