On April 7, 2009 at 11:50 AM, a male suspect attempted to pry a screen off a window at a house in the 6200 Block of Washington Avenue. The resident was inside the house at the time and scared the suspect away.
The Whitier Police Department reminds all Whittier and Santa Fe Springs residents to close and lock all doors and windows when leaving your house, apartment or business.
