Female Suspect Saught in Stabbing

On September 13th at 10:00pm, units responded to the Embers Lounge (11332 Washington Blvd.) regarding a stabbing that had just occurred. A regular customer at that location by the name of “Casey” was named as the suspect. Casey was at the location and was heavily intoxicated and extremely distraught over a breakup or similar incident with her boyfriend. While she was at the bar, she engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim. As the victim went to the restroom near the back of the bar, the suspect attacked her with a knife. After stabbing her, the suspect fled the location in a westbound direction. An area check was conducted, which included other local bars in the area, along with a search for a motor-home which the suspect either lives in or drives frequently. “Casey” is described as a White female, blonde, wearing a long white dress. The victim was transported to St. Francis for her injuries and is in stable condition.
