Robbery

As a 17-year old, Whittier resident was was walking on Milton Ave yesterday at 4:00pm, two suspects drove up to him. The passenger exited and demanded his cell phone and ipod. When the victim hesitated, suspect #1 punched him in the head multiple times. The victim released the property and the suspects drove southbound in the west alley of Milton to Hadley Street. Suspect#1 was described as a male Hispanic 17 yrs., 5’11", 140 pounds with black spikey hair, black T Shirt, blue shorts, and tall white socks. Suspect#2 was described as a male Hispanic 17 (Driver) with no further details. The suspect vehicle was described as a late 90’s Hyundai 2 door that had been spray painted blue and white.

While patrolling the area sometime later, a Whittier Police Corporal saw the suspect vehicle in the Market Place parking lot and arrested suspect#2 for possession of stolen property as he was in possession of the victim’s ipod. Suspect #1 was not in the vehicle.
