Auto Thief Caught in Drive-Thru

While patrolling the Motel 6 on Firestone Blvd., a Santa Fe Springs Public Safety Officer (PSO) observed a suspicious vehicle in the lot. He then ran the license plate and realized it was a stolen car that a Whittier Police Officer had lost sight of earlier. As he was getting the info on the car, a female subject exited a room and entered the GTA vehicle. The PSO then put out the information to patrol officers and followed the vehicle into the Jack-In-the-Box parking lot. Whittier Police Officers arrived moments later and trapped the female suspect in the drive thru and took her into custody without incident.
