Suicide Investigation

The Whittier Police Department is investigating an apparent suicide that occurred at 3:15pm to the rear of Sav-On, located on Washington Blvd. in Santa Fe Springs. After hearing a gunshot, employees of the business proceeded to the alley behind the store and located the victim. Preliminary information indicates the victim is a male White, 49 years of age from La Habra.
