On July 12, 2006 at 5 a.m. a suspect used a rock to smash the window of a vehicle in the 8200 block of Pinositas. The loss was a briefcase that was left in the vehicle overnight. At 5:30 a.m. a home was burglarized in the 15800 block of West Road. The suspect broke a window at the house and removed a laptop that was sitting in plain view next to the window.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic in his late teens with long hair. Residents are once again reminded not to leave valuables in vehicles or in plain view at home.
