Stolen Vehicle Recovery - Suspect In Custody

On July 2, 2006 at 6:51 p.m. Whittier officers observed a White GMC Yukon with paper plates driving in the area of Laurel and Beaty. When the driver saw the police car, he began to drive at a high rate of speed, then parked the vehicle quickly and ran. Officers apprehended a suspect at the scene and the vehicle was determined to be stolen.
