Road Rage Turns Violent

On May 17th, in the area of Leffingwell Road and Imperial Highway, a Road Rage incident took place involving two vehicles. The incident started at 1:30pm, when party 1 smashed the windshield of Party 2's vehicle with a bat and then pulled into a drive thru to order food. Party 2 left his car in the street and walked over to the drive thru and smashed the window of Party 1's car with a hammer. Party 1 then pinned Party 2 with his vehicle knocking him to the ground and running over his legs.

Party 1, Isaac Gutierrez, a 35-year-old Whittier County resident, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and Party 2 was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
