Santa Fe Springs, CA - On May 21, 2009 at approximately 11:11pm, A Whittier patrol officer assigned to Santa Fe Springs, is patrolling the area of Broaded and Danby when he observes a male and female arguing. Two other subjects who are next to them, see the officer and take off running. The officer learns from the male and female that one of the subjects is armed with a firearm and brandished it to them. Officers were able to detain the subject, who was later identified as Steven Jaimez. Officers conducted a search of the area and located a loaded .38 caliber semi automatic handgun underneath the tire of a car, just feet away from where they were seen running. Steven Jaimez was positively identified as being the one who brandished the firearm.
Arested: Steven Jaimez (03-26-87) , a resident of Santa Fe Springs.
