Santa Fe Springs - The Whittier Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a carjacking suspect. On 8/15/06, at 2:45am a suspect approached two In & Out maintenance employees and demanded money from them to the rear of 10525 Carmenita Rd. The suspect also inquired about money from the business; including the safe. After realizing they were maintenance employees and they had no access to the businesses, the suspect demanded the keys to one of the victim's vehicle and took the car. Theses suspect then fled onto Carmenita Rd. in an unknown direction. The victim's wallet and keys to the business were with the vehicle. Later that morning, the Norwalk Sherrifs Department located the abandoned car and recovered it.
The suspect was described as a Male Hispanic, 35 years old, 5', 9", 180 lbs., with a MUSTACHE, SHAVED HEAD, and was seen wearing DARK SHORTS, and a MAROON T-SHIRT.
