East-End Vehicle Burglaries Continue

On 8/8/06 in the early morning hours, three residential locations fell victim to vehicle burglaries and theft. The locations where the thefts occurred were in the vicinity of 16430 Pasada, 15900 La Calma, and 16300 Janine. It appears the suspect may have been walking the area because the vehicles were in driveways. It was also apparent the suspect was smoking due to cigarette ashes found in one vehicle. While committing these crimes it appeared the suspect took his time going through the vehicles to find items to take. At the Janine address the suspect burglarized two vehicles that were in the driveway.

All the vehicles were left open! Thus, no forced entry was necessary. Residents are again reminded to minimize risk of theft by LOCKING YOUR VEHICLES.
