Graffiti Suspects In Custody

On August 14, 2006 at 11:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of three suspects that just vandalized the Dial-One business with graffiti. Officers checked the area and located the suspects behind a fast food business on Whittier Boulevard. Upon seeing the officers, the suspects fled on foot. Three suspects were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. A variety of Graffiti tools were recovered and the three were determined to be Whittier residents. In all, more than a dozen buildings were vandalized by these suspects. The suspects were charged with felony vandalism.

This arrests like many others is a result of great observations by residents followed by a timely call to the police department.
