Residential Burglar in Custody

Santa Fe Springs - On 8/8/06 at approximately 8:30pm, in the 11100 block of Charlesworth Drive, two female victims reported that their rented room had been broken into while they were gone in the afternoon. The witness, and daughter of the homeowner, was home at the time the female suspect and her male friends barged into the house and several bags of the victims personal belongings were taken. During a follow up investigation, Whittier Police Officers spotted the suspect and her boyfriend driving on Davenrich Street. Upon seeing the police, the suspect started stashing bags of property under parked cars. Both were detained and the female was arrested for the crime. All of the property was identified by the victims and returned.
