On August 2, 2006 at 5:25 a.m. officers received a report of a subject who was riding his bicycle along Telegraph Road, tagging signs and other city property. Officers checked the area and located the subject. When he saw the officers approach he threw spray paint cans on the ground and attempted to escape. He was caught and subsequently arrested for felony vandalism. The suspect is a 24 year old male resident of Santa Fe Springs. Further investigation revealed that the suspect (Steven Gonzalez) was also wanted by the CHP for numerous tagging incidents along the freeway.
