On Sunday, August 13, 2006 at 10:50 p.m. officers initiated a pursuit on a speeding motorcycle in the area of Homeland and Santa Fe. When the pursuit entered La Habra, the suspect stopped the motorcycle and fled on foot. Whittier and La Habra officers chased the suspect and were able to take him into custody after a short struggle.
